Taylor Davalos Great stuff. At once catchy and dissonant. Anyone familiar with the cellar and point's fantastic ambit (one of my favorite finds on bandcamp) will surely enjoy this.

Tom Landon Thank you Bandcamp! I stumbled on this while looking for something else - and was captivated.
This is a little jewel. Despite the fact that it dates from 2007, it's a fascinating mix of jazz and... all the rest really, but it yields some fascinating atmospheres, conjured by some rather fine composition and arrangements, as well as the evocative singing of the exotically-named Marie-Claudine Vanvlemen. A lovely record. And a great title ;-) Favorite track: Here Are The Options.

about

From crackling jazz drumming and warm alto clarinet sounds to spiralling guitar melodies over deep, dubby beats and subtle vocals. From deranged, atmospheric soundscapes to post-rockish guitar licks and glitching clicks ‘n’ cuts. From jazzy Rhodes playing (by guest Jeroen van Vliet) to playful analog synth sounds. MUSIC FOR SPEAKERS AMPLIFIED takes the idea of popsongs to the edge, and frequently leave them hanging over an abyss of sound and unconventional melodies.
