OUTLIERS creates a cinematic tension with just a few carefully placed musical elements. Their largely improvised arrangements unfold complex ambient soundscapes with abstract, glitchy rhythmical elements; warm, plucked or bowed, steady yet free bass lines and trumpet sounds that shift from charming melodies to dissonant outbursts.

Being active in music and sharing stages with many national and international influential artists for several years, the members of OUTLIERS hardly need any introduction. Based in Dutch cities ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Tilburg and Eindhoven, their music explores regions far beyond their geographic roots.

This is a registration of their first concert, at which they were accompanied by live sand drawing artist VERVUE.
